Curriculum

Living Way Christian Academy uses the individualized, online curriculum platform, Ignitia. In addition to academic excellence, the advantages of Ignitia are its emphasis on individual instruction, promotion of the development of student responsibility, goal setting and achievement, and its encouragement of Christian character development.

The continuity of Ignitia makes it possible for each child to advance in each subject at his own best speed. Thus the quick child does not suffer from boredom and neglect and the slow or poorly prepared child does not feel discouraged and “left behind” in class work.

The Why Behind What We Do

The objective in building a private Christian School is to obey the Scriptural imperative of Deuteronomy 6:5-7: “…love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.”

And, of Proverbs 22:6 – “to train up a child in THE WAY HE SHOULD GO.”  Teaching is training. Training for life must include training for eternity. For each of these students will live as long as God does, forever.

Our Academy is an extension of the ministry of Living Way Church to train young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity. The Academy serves in a partnership role with parents to train the whole child.
